‘Irudina’ astrology columist, Chandrasiri Bandara has been arrested by the officers of the C.I.D., yesterday night at his home at Thalawathugoda.

Mr. Bandara was taken away by the C.I.D. officers, saying that they need to clarify a news article which was published in weekend sinhala news paper ‘ Irudina”- a sister paper of ” Sunday Leader”.

Mr. Bandara was the key speaker of the workshop held recently, organised by the Media & Propaganda Committe of UNP, in which he told that, Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe’s planatary position geting better in the near future and he would be captured the power in next September.

Earlier, Mr.Bandara presented a “Astrological Programme ” for Derana T.V. Channel and the managment of the channel, suspend the programme due to direct influence by the top politician in the Government.
