Documents on IMF loan to be presented to Parliament

All documents pertaining to the recently approved IMF loan to Sri Lankawill be presented to Parliament when it meets on August 06, said State Revenue & Finance and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.

Minister Siyambalapitiya added that the government is prepared even for a debate on the matter. He said that this is the 23rdsuch loan from the IMF to Sri Lanka and that the Central Bank is fully responsible to it. The Minister gave an assurance that no taxes will be imposed on the masses due to this loan.
