New visa regulations for Hong Kong

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Colombo has summoned a press conference on May 19 to introduce the new visa procedure to enter Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China.

“As all links are getting closer and closer in every aspect between China and Sri Lanka, it is believed that an increasing (number) of Sri Lankan companies (representatives) and individuals are going to visit Hong Kong SAR of China for various purposes such as tourism, trade, conferences, cultural exchanges and so on,’’ Mr. Shen Ming, Head of the Culture Section of the Chinese Embassy here said.

He said they were hence keen on guiding the public with updated information on Hong Kong’s immigration policy and regulations
