(Lanka-e-News, Nov.20, 2009, 8.20PM) According to a survey conducted by the Lanka e news, 48% of the voters are still undecided as to whom to vote at the forthcoming Presidential elections.

In our survey, 56 % were males and 44% were females who responded.

Those who declared that they would vote for Mahinda Rajapakse are 24%. If General Fonseka is the candidate for the elections, 28% were in his favor. Of those 24% who said that they would vote for the present President 83%, were of the opposite sex. Of those 28% who said they would vote for Gen. Fonseka were of the male sex.
